Why we don't take orders online.

We pride ourselves on offering the best possible solution exactly tailored to our customers requirements rather than just ‘selling boxes'. To offer the optimum food transport solution requires taking into account a variety of factors including:

• The heat capacity of the product
• The volume/size of the product
• The relationship between the potential transport box size and the heat capacity of the product
• The heat retaining capability of each box
• The length of time food is to be held for

In addition we take into account other factors such as the users situation e.g.

• School dinners - It might seem costs effective to by one low cost insulated transport box to  deliver 5 school dinners but:

  • It might be cheaper to invest more in 1 individual box per child and then the school taking delivery would not have to handle the serving of the meals.
• Meals -on-wheels - How many times is the box opened
  • How many meals are taken out each time the box is opened
  • How long is the last meal inside the large box on it's own
  • Is a Thermo Boost or Thermo shield being used
  • What is the make up of each meal.

All these questions along with available budget effect the choice of transport system but what we do know is that when we recommend boxes they are guaranteed to work and on the odd occasion that we just supply a box on request in 50% of case it is later changed.
